The program aims to improve the status of minority of the documentary film in Romanian culture and to give him a public role and potential for aesthetic innovation. STEPdoc is a mobility grant that will allow a young Romanian filmmaker to fit for one month, the British documentary culture. STEPdoc scholarship will be used for individual research on a specific project in the United Kingdom (UK) and / or networking with a UK company to jointly develop a documentary film project.

The Council of Europe’s traineeship scheme consists of a three-month period: candidates can choose between: January to March, April to July and September to December.
