Financial Help for the Ill
The University would like to ensure financial support for those students and teachers who suffer a major illness with the aim to support the medicated treatment.
About Our Scholarships
Each student at the Sapientia University has the right to get either merit or study scholarship either social scholarship, since he meets all requirements. The merit scholarship is non-exclusive: it can be obtained near a social scholarship, or vice versa. Following two specialties at the University, the is provided for only one course.
Ferber Scholarship
Ferber Miklos, professor at the Faculty of Industrial Technology from Eastern Michigan University has been financing the Sapientia University and since 2007 the specialization in International Relations and European Studies, too.
Merit Scholarship

Eligible to have merit scholarship are those students who have been enrolled for more than a semester. The merit scholarship is 230 lei per month.

Study Scholarships

The eligible students are those who:

  • satisfy the conditions proposed by the Commission for Scholarships and voted by the Council of the Faculty, regarding the minimal score to obtain scholarship
  • have obtained enough marks on the admission exams
  • attends courses and seminars both before and grant after grant paid
The value of the study scholarship is 170 lei per month.
Social Scholarships

Social scholarship is appliable to students who:

  • have at least 20 credits in previous semester
  • are orphans (one or both parents), have grown up in orphanages. are chronically ill, or net income per person does not exceed the net amount of gross minimum wage in the country.
The value of the social scholarship is 144, 120 or 96 lei per month.
