Note for foreign citizen applicants: According to Romanian regulations, for study programs in which the didactic process is conducted in foreign languages, admission is conditional on passing a language knowledge test. Exempt from this test are people who come from countries where the official language of the state is the language in which the courses are conducted and who prove, with school documents, that they attended the courses in that language. At Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania the teaching language is Hungarian. Applicants who completed their secondary school studies in another language and do not take the entrance exam in Hungarian in accordance with the admission criteria, must take part in an exclusionary Hungarian language proficiency assessment.
