Borrowing

Documents can be searched in the library's online catalogue. A reader's badge is required for borrowing and can only be used by the holder.

Borrowing conditions:

Readers may borrow documents if:

• they hold a valid reader's card
• is not in arrears with the loan
• has no unpaid late payment penalties

Loan period:

• for university teaching staff: one line of days / max. 10 copies;
• for students of the university: one week or one month of days in the case of textbooks or publications that are considered textbooks, max. 5 ex.
• For a very short period (overnight loan) documents, periodicals in a copy in the possession of the library may be borrowed from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next day.

Extensions: it is possible to extend documents borrowed in person, at the reading room service, by telephone or e-mail. It is permitted to extend the loan twice consecutively.

The late fee is 50 bani/document/day. The maximum amount of the penalty cannot exceed RON 45,00, as provided for by the laws in force.
