Sound Engineer Adult Training

Admission information for 2023
Sound engineers are needed for all radio and TV broadcasts, music studio recordings, music festivals and other events, as well as for film production, and they must be well-qualified and have a solid theoretical background and practical experience.

As such, in February 2021, Sapientia EMTE will launch an accredited niche Voice Master/ Sound Engineer adult education course that follows a thorough, Hungarian-language curriculum that teaches participants how to:

  • use sound technology tools and equipment;
  • prepare sound recording studio work;
  • prepare and mix digital sound recordings;
  • prepare recording studio equipment, record, and prepare sound recording equipment, prepare and edit sound recordings;
  • install, commission and configure concert and event sound equipment;
  • provide sound for concerts and other events;
  • use film sound equipment;
  • record film sound.

The training will run every 2 years, so the next time you can apply is in 2023!

To enrol, you need:

  • high school certificate in original or certified copy and document proving the whereabouts of the original
  • identity card or passport (copy)
  • birth certificate (original and copy)
  • health certificate (from a family doctor)
  • enrolment receipt of RON 150

Duration of training: 4 semesters
