Access to the library is only possible with a personal library card.

They can register free of charge and are entitled to all library services:

• students and teachers of Sapientia EMTE;
• students and staff of Sapientia EMTE and other employees of Sapientia Foundation.

They can subscribe, but only for on-site reading (20 lei for subscription and 10 lei for renewal):

• external university students and lecturers;
• external researchers.

Documents required for enrolment:

For students:

• identity card
• student ID card (with current stamp)
• a photograph
• e-mail address, phone number
• fill in the enrolment form

For employees of the University:

• identity card
• a photograph
• fill in the enrolment form
• e-mail address, telephone number

For external visitors:

• identity card
• one photo
• fill in the enrolment form
• e-mail address, telephone number

Each academic year, enrolled readers must renew their library membership at the circulation desk.

Reading room regulations

Readers must surrender their library card at the desk.

Only essential items are allowed in the reading room. Luggage, coats, food and drinks must be left in the cloakroom.

Non-library books in the reader's possession must be shown to the librarian upon entry.

Silence must be maintained. No talking on mobile phones!

Books must be left on the tables after use.

Books must not be put back on the shelf!
