About Our Program:

• Together we’ll search for the answers to the most pressing questions of modern film culture.
• You can try your hand in projects creating short films, documentaries, or fictitious spins of documentaries.
• You can use our film studio to create films meant for television or for international film festivals.
• We show your films at public screenings.

Our Goal:

We aim to continue strengthening the education given in Sapientia’s Film, Photography, and Media undergraduate program, and to broaden our graduates’ horizons post graduation. The master’s program, founded by Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania and Budapest’s Eötvös Loránd University, stresses the questions most pertinent to modern film culture, and, keeping in mind the realities of Eastern European film, firstly directs itself towards the creation of short films and documentaries which can make their way to television or to international film festivals.
