Cluj-Napoca is one of the most important cities of Transylvania, considered the unofficial capital to the historical province of Transylvania. Being the second largest University town in Romania, with its nine universities it hosts almost 100,000 students.
May is generally sunny, the warmest period of the year starts at mid-May. Temperatures range from 9 to 21ºC in the day. However, an umbrella and a few warm clothes can be useful beacuse of the altering weather.

Exchange offices can be found everywhere in the city, but should be done only in hotels, banks or exchange offices; rates can vary between different offices as much as 5% for the same currency.
